OVERVIEW: Verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for shipment by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
- Weighs and packs parts as indicated by instructions
- Places parts in boxes, or other containers as instructed
- Enters part data into computer information system (Plex)
- Performs cycle counts of inventoried items as prescribed
- Puts parts in rack locations as instructed
- Affixes postage on packages
- Compares items packed with customer's orders and other identifying data
- Makes copies of move tags when change of location occurs
- Participates in Corrective Action Processes
- Participates in continuous improvement activities for betterment of customers and our company

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent; 1-3 months related experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient aptitude in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
- Knowledge of ERP systems, specifically Plex, is preferred
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple priorities
- Forklift certification required
- Ability to obtain a Chauffeurs License
- Multitasking and being able to do other functions within the Logistics Department
