Shipping and Packing Clerk Opportunity - Charlotte, NCAre you looking for a rewarding role as a Shipping and Packing Clerk in Charlotte, NC? Join our team with a stable Monday-Friday schedule and no weekend shifts! Occasional overtime may be required.Position Details:

• Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Pay Rate: $17-$18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking & Packing for Freight Shipping: Carefully pick items for truck shipments according to pick tickets and package them securely with industrial materials such as bubble wrap, compression foam, and shrink wrap.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Support warehouse upkeep, including shelf restocking, pallet consolidation, floor sweeping, and breaking down crates for disposal.
• Special Projects: Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned when order picking and packing workload is lighter.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to Learn: Able to gain technical product knowledge and adapt to custom packing processes.
• Efficiency & Organization: Focused on developing efficiency over time and maintaining an organized, fast-paced work environment.
• Professional Attitude: A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to keeping shared workspaces orderly.
• Reliable Transportation: Must have dependable transportation to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Experience Bonus: Previous experience in trades like HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, or Automotive is a plus but not required.
• Forklift Certification Preferred: Candidates with a valid forklift certification (with hard-copy proof) are preferred. Although forklifts are used daily, this position involves various warehouse duties beyond forklift operation.
