Text “READY” to 81555 to download JobStack and get started todayPay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*What You'll Do as a Shipping / Receiving Associate:Oversee and manage activities at the shipping dock to ensure safe and efficient freight loadingDispatch incoming orders and assign them to the warehouse teamVerify the accuracy of orders picked by the warehouse teamEnter data such as addresses, quantities, and weights to complete shipping paperworkEnsure the correct shipping methods are used for customer ordersMaintain a shipment database to keep orders updated and provide billing information to customer service and finance teamsNotify the supervisor of any major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutionsPrepare bills of lading for shipmentsUse a hand truck or other equipment to transport materials on the shipping dock as neededOperate a forklift to load trucks or railroad carsEnsure product handling and delivery meet customer expectationsKeep accurate shipment records and file packing slips according to company proceduresPerform other related duties as assignedAvailable Shifts:Shift timings: 2nd Shift (Evening)Job Requirements:Excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailBasic understanding of truck freight ratesSolid knowledge of safety policies and best practicesAbility to lift 50 pounds repeatedlyBackground check and drug screening requiredReady to take control of your work life?Complete our application to join the PeopleReady team today!*Hourly pay rates are a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
