Our client, a dynamic player in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the operations team supporting the overall supply chain process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk 1st Shift
Location: Lynwood, CA
Pay Range: $17.85 - $20.94
What's the Job?
Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying shipment accuracy against purchase orders.
Sort, count, package, label, insure, unpack, and log inventory received or shipped.
Inspect shipments for damages or defects, recording any discrepancies and notifying supervisors.
Operate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts for loading and unloading supplies.
Follow established departmental policies and safety standards while performing miscellaneous job-related duties.
What's Needed?
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
At least 1 year of experience in Shipping and Receiving.
Forklift certification is required.
Strong accountability and reliability in performing job duties.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a friendly demeanor with team members and customers.
