The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials in and out of the facility. This position encompasses order verification, managing shipments, and meticulously recording items departing from the building. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk also takes charge of inventory control to maintain accurate records of materials as they move in and out of the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange FedEx, UPS, and local shipments.
- Prioritize and schedule local shipments promptly and efficiently.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements for outbound and inbound shipments, including air shipments, forwarding, split shipments, and tracking deliveries.
- Retrieve Purchase Order (PO) numbers for shipments and manage Receiving Booth properties.
- Receive UPS, FedEx, or other carrier shipments, log them in the daily receiving log sheet, inspect for damages, and collect packing lists and Bills of Lading (BOLs).
- Receive goods, verify their quality and quantity against PO counts, and report any discrepancies to carriers, supervisors, and the purchasing department.
- Deliver incoming shipments to the appropriate department.
- Monitor UPS, FedEx, AFU, and LTL shipment statuses.
- Prepare items for outgoing shipments, including labeling and preparing shipping documents.
- Ensure that all scheduled shipments leave the building.
- Collaborate with internal teams to arrange logistics for shipping transportation.
- Schedule FedEx and UPS shipments as required.
- Keep internal teams informed about incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments and follow up with internal teams, FedEx, and UPS as needed.
- Update inventory systems with accurate counts of client inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units through stretching, squatting, and reaching.
