Description As we grow our service area in the Pacific Northwest, we are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team of experts.About Emerging Health Emerging Health is a pharmacy and infusion center committed to providing patients exceptional experiences and healthcare solutions. We offer private infusion suites at our office in SW Portland, Oregon. Our second office in Eugene will open early 2024 and is allowing us to expand our reach of care to more communities along the coast, in the Willamette Valley and in Southern Oregon. We are recruiting a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for efficient order fulfillment and shipment. Job type: Full-time Pay range: $18.31-$22.89 per hour, depending on experience Benefits:

Position responsibilities:
  • Understand and execute all product flow and order fulfillment processes.
  • Accurately pull, pick and fill customer orders.
  • Process shipping labels and stage for pick-up.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies in pharmacy facilities.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment.
  • Represent the pharmacy in a professional and courteous manner in all job-related activities.
  • Assist with maintaining adequate inventory levels, and improving inventory handling, space allocation and order efficiency.
  • Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
  • Receive shipments and review for accuracy.
  • Place inventory items in proper warehouse location.
  • Provide support to the delivery driver by delivering patient medications and supplies when needed or requested.
  • Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies as requested.
  • Participate in the pharmacy's Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator.
  • Participate in pharmacy committees when requested.
  • Participate in in-service education programs provided by the pharmacy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Required skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record for the past three years.
  • Experience with warehouse operation is preferred.
  • Pharmacy technician license is preferred.
  • Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
  • Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions.
  • Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills that include use of spreadsheets, internet, word processing, and e-mail.
  • Our ideal candidate has:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to effectively collaborate in a team setting.
    • Proficiency in standard workplace software and/or information management applications.
    • Prior experience working in an infusion pharmacy or healthcare setting.
    • Ability to navigate computer applications.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
