Summary/Scope of Work Perform all shipping and receiving functions to include but not limited to receiving and processing incoming mail, documenting proper shipment receipt of operational training supplies and equipment. This opportunity is available contingent upon contract award.Job Responsibilities
- Manage inventory of assorted equipment and course supplies.
- Transport, unpack, pack, inventory using proper equipment (ex: power machinery, hand truck etc.).
- Perform inventory of serialized and non-serialized equipment and supplies.
- Reconcile inventory management system with physical inventory.
- Report losses of serialized material.
- Coordinate new or replacement item requests.
- Identify end of life replacement requirements for serialized and non-serialized material.
- Provide routine and ad hoc reporting on all items.
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, local policies and procedures.
- Operate motor vehicles and any specialized equipment necessary to perform warehouse functions (ex: Class C Commercial Driver's License).
- Pull and package equipment and supplies for shipment to field offices.
- Generate transfer documents in inventory system.
- Obtain and maintain certification to package and ship hazardous materials if needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years experience in logistics/warehouse operations
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work effectively, and contribute positively, as a team member
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
- Must meet physical requirements to perform the function(s) and task(s) for position
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships, professional demeanor, and attitude
- Satisfactory completion of background investigation, preemployment screening, and other checks as required by state law
