Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk ($19-21/hr.)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, and ensuring accurate electronic record-keeping. This position requires a high level of precision and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts, stand up reach trucks, and material handling equipment.Electronically record data using an ERP system.Utilize RF Scan Guns.Work collaboratively with team members.Pull work orders and pick and pack orders.Relabel boxes and pallets.Prepare orders for shipment, including scanning and inventory control.Load and unload trucks.Spend approximately 30% of time pulling orders with a forklift and 60% doing manual work.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving.Experience operating a stand-up forklift.Proficiency with bar code scanners.Experience pulling orders and loading/unloading trucks.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift certification.Experience with RF scan guns and palletizing.Why Work Here?Forget any preconceived notions you might have had about dirty and dark manufacturing facilities!
