Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. Our company manufactures various equipment for the food industry, including fryers, cookers, smokers, warmers, burger and chicken makers for restaurants and other distributors throughout the Midwest and the country.

Responsibilities

• Pack, crate, and ship goods

• Ensure shipment accuracy against proper paperwork

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks

• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

• Distribute and move materials to appropriate plant locations as required

• Verify inventory counts and perform physical inventory checks

Essential Skills

• Inventory control

• Shipping and receiving

• Forklift operating

• 6 months - 1 year of forklift operating/warehouse experience

• RF scanner usage

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Material handling

• Packaging

• Order picking

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/carry 35 lbs

• Must be able to stand for up to eight (8) hours at a time

• Ability to sit, bend, kneel, squat, reach, push, pull, climb, etc.

Work Environment

The work shift is from 6:30am to 3:00pm with the option of working 10-hour shifts. Voluntary Saturday shifts are from 5:30am to 10:30am. There are 65 total employees across various departments such as weld, fab, grind/polish, assembly, shipping, blending, and quality. The work environment is clean and organized.

Based out of Beloit, Wisconsin.
