Job Summary:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the shipping and receiving process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments.
  • Verify the quantity and quality of incoming goods.
  • Store products in designated locations.
  • Process outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling.
  • Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading and packing lists.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift Certification a plus.

Experience:

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness to lift, carry, and push heavy objects.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
  • Basic computer skills.

Work environment:

  • Warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
  • May be exposed to noise, dust, and chemicals.
