Shipping and receiving clerk - Randstad : Job Details

This individual will play a critical role in the aerospace industry, handling the transportation, receipt, and management of raw materials, components, parts, and finished products used in aerospace manufacturing and repair. These specialists must ensure that materials and components comply with stringent industry standards and regulations due to the high safety, precision, and quality requirements in aerospace production. salary: $18 - $24 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: High School Responsibilities

• Prepare all necessary documentation's (i.e., air bills, shipping labels, invoices).
• Ships items by verifying identifying information, quantity, and condition of parts and supplies to be shipped; loading and protecting items.
• Documents parts and/or supplies to be shipped by recording transport information and identifying data about items to be sent.
• Receiving in Raw Material and Purchased Details.
• Verifies parts and/or supplies received by inspecting the condition of items, comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list, and notes discrepancies.
• Transports various materials and parts using hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.

Required:

• Forklift experience a required. Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date.
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, and other company approved transportation companies.
