Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Warehouse Distribution Clerk) - Rochester, NY - The University of Rochester : Job Details

Assist with inbound shipments (unloading / verifying) Assist with outbound shipments (loading / verifying). Examines and accepts shipments of items and maintains receiving documents and records. Initiates action for payment of items received and/or for adjustment of defective items. - Load and unload materials including, but not limited to direct materials, indirect materials, outgoing parcels, skids, U-boats, and capital medical equipment. - Enters data into automated inventory control system using a computer or scanning device. Kit items for outbound shipments - May originate orders and requests for items which fall within a perpetual inventory or other predefined stock system.
