For more information, please visit our website atwww.sunchemical.comor connect with us onLinkedInorTwitter Job Title: Shipping and ReceivingTech Department: Shipping Location: Amelia, Ohio Supervisor Title: Shipping Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Shipping and Receiving Tech is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse, plant, and truck areas. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for staging materials and surfactants. Recording and putting up finished goods. Pulling orders for delivery. Unloading and loading trucks. Comply with all safety procedures and safety training requirements. Other duties as assigned. Collaborates with other internal department to achieve operational goals Assure all paperwork is properly filled out and submitted in a timely manner REQUIRED EDUCATION High school graduate or equivalent. (Minimum) Good verbal and written communication skills PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of warehouse experience Experience working in an industrial/manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Current certification on all three types of plant industrial trucks and elevated platforms preferred. Computer experience desired.
