Position Summary

The role is responsible for preparing shipments/shipping documents, inbound and outbound for all United Group transactions by following UGI established guidelines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Examine order content and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming shipments or outgoing shipments

· Select, prepare, and process outgoing orders for shipment

· Pick and Pack product from warehouse and securely prepare for shipping

· Process all shipments using established shipping software, utilizing approved freight lines

· Assist with EOC packaging

· Receiving products – counting and receiving in real time utilizing procedures

· Inspect and analyze received products to determine that goods meet quality criteria

· Stock put-away

· Communicate well with the freight line dispatchers – develop good working relationships

· Perform Physical Inventory Control Background. and/or Cycle Counts as requested by Production Manager

· Additional Assignments as directed by Production Manager, Director of Operations and/or Vice President

· ISO Process Owner – Shipping & Receiving

Qualifications

• Strong background in distribution center operations
• Proficiency in shipping and receiving tasks
• Experience with order fulfillment and inventory management
• Skilled in using forklifts and warehouse management systems
• Knowledge of stocking, packaging, and order picking processes
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
