Summary: Responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate shipping and receipt of all incoming and outgoing material and/or products. Compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, disclosure, reporting, and labeling requirements concerning product content and shipping is also a major responsibility of this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively schedule and direct all shipping and receiving activities for the department across three Warehouses.
- Ensure all orders are processed per Spectrum SOP's, customer and/or regulatory requirements.
- Follow up on Will Call and International orders to ensure they are picked up and processed in a timely manner.
- Lead all customer complaint investigations to determine root cause and prevent reoccurrence of issues.
- Ensure incoming material is received on time and meets company requirements.
- Monitor training and maintain all relevant certifications for self and team members.
- Monitor and address department employee attendance and/or performance issues per company policies.
- Strive for continuous improvement and work with other departments to reduce non-value-added activities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Efficiently coordinates, communicates, and provides essential information to Customer Service, Planning, Quality Control, Supply Base, and other associated functions in a timely manner.
- Prepare and participate in audits as requested.
- Provides constructive and timely performance feedback and conducts performance evaluations.
- Performs monthly 1:1 meetings with employees.
- Lead, Develop and Coach employees in the department.
- Create personal development plans for employees who are “rising stars”.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of cGMP/GDP/FDA/DOT regulations.
- Proficiency with UPS and Fedex shipping systems.
- Knowledge of OSHA, DEA, USP, and other applicable regulations.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with lean methodologies preferred.
- Ability to drive positive change within the departments.
- Excellent time management, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, be flexible, and meet deadlines.

Work Schedule: Must be flexible on work schedule, often working late, as required.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or business management or 3-5 years related experience or training preferred.
- Previous Experience and/or permit for operation of forklifts preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Experience with Oracle is highly preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: This position requires to have Forklift certification, HAZWOPER Training may be required.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
