The Shipping Associate Worker--Textiles is responsible for coordinating the paperwork and system information for textile products for shipment.
- Manage loading, unloading, and staging of products at the warehouse.
- Manage the loading, unloading, and staging of raw materials.
- Audit unloading and loading of product.
- Run proper production and troubleshooting reports out of SAP and Oracle.
- Perform quality checks according to standard work as well as inspecting for damage.
- Understand SAP and Oracle and how we use the system to manage the business.
- Prepares products for shipping, load trucks for shipment and supports outbound shipping activities.
- Communicate with planning process to smooth out the loading process.
- Conform to the requirements of ISO 14001 and comply with all applicable regulations and requirements.
- Maintain customer focus at all times to work to resolve customer issues.
- Use documents and computer system to accurately process materials through Oracle and SAP.
- Keep the workspace and equipment clean and well organized.
- Perform proper preventive maintenance as required on any equipment being used.
- Follow all safety guidelines and uses required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support the Vision and Guiding Principles and other policies of Kimball International and National Office Furniture.
- Follow and support the Quality system.
- Performs job rotation as directed; train others in material handling roles, remain flexible and will occasionally perform other roles in the area.
- Support our Environmental Management System (EMS).
