Job Description :
Overview The Shipping Clerk will support the Frozen Warehouse Manager with keeping goods moving into and out of the warehouse Job Responsibilities
  • Support manager with day-to-day management of shipping schedule;
  • Run reports and provide status updates as requested;
  • Check in truck drivers and route to specific loading lanes or to dropped trailers in the yard ready for collection;
  • Print product pick lists and shipping labels for warehouse team;
  • Support manager with all administrative activities related to shipping function including but not limited to creation of bills of lading, stock transfer orders, invoice/billing, scheduling or rescheduling deliveries, communications with retail partners, corporate team, or carriers regarding loads;
  • Completes forms and documents timely;
  • Assists with audits;
  • Perform other required tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Ability to plan and communicate frequently;
  • Ability to follow direction;
  • Great written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel);
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred;
  • Ability and desire to learn/use our ERP system;
  • Critical thinking and the ability to problem solve/troubleshoot challenges.
