Job Description: Pay Range: $27.50hr - $32.50hr
- Analyzes inventory levels, inventory positioning, planned production and sales forecasts.
- Oversees the liquidation and transfer of stock to reflect cost, age, and demand. Initiates immediate actions in out-of-stock situations.
- Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, packaged according to specifications and shipped in a timely manner.
- Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules.
- Responsible for coordination and consolidation of domestic and international systems to support shipments.
- May complete analysis on company/customer needs, transportation methods, and audit carrier costs and performance to select most efficient transportation options.
- Interprets laws, rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.
- Work consists of less-routine tasks in contribution to changes in systems and processes to solve problems.
- May be required to apply discretion within identified boundaries and procedures.
- Responsible for making minor changes in processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of approaches and routines being utilized.
- Expected to propose solutions to problems for others to review.
- Requires broad theoretical job knowledge.
- Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Required Skills:
- Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Edge
- Experience with SAP is a bonus.
- Experience with data management / processing preferred.
