Shipping Clerk - GBS : Job Details

Job Title: Shipping Clerk FLSA Status (Exempt or Non Exempt) Non Exempt Division & Department: GBS PrinTech - Malvern, Ohio Reports To: Fulfillment/Product Manager POSITION SUMMARYTo meet all customer requirements and ship on time according to the scheduled ship dates.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload trucks
• Operate lift truck in a safe manner
• Package finished product per customer specifications such as shrink wrap, box type, quantity and etc.
• Create appropriate packing slips and bill of ladings for shipments
• Wrap skids
• Barcode and label boxes according to customer and shipping specifications
• Package and ship finished product per customer requirements using UPS, FedEx, Airborne Express and other common couriers
• Order packaging and shipping supplies
• Work with overrun inventory
• Support the business system and the quality mission statement
• Function as a backup for Warehouse Distribution tasks
• While packaging, inspect product for core labels per customer specifications
• Basic receiving functions as a backup
• Other duties and projects as assigned
• Label boxes

QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements)

• Good written and oral communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Strong math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge and experience with different shipping methods and requirements
• 1 - 2 years previous shipping experience
• Strong problem solving techniques
