You will have the opportunity to learn from our subject matter experts about our extremely high pressure product line.Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Consulting Shipping Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This position requires a strong understanding of the shipping process, from order to delivery, and a commitment to ensuring that all shipments meet our high standards of accuracy and timeliness. The successful candidate will have a background in purchasing, inventory control, and scheduling, and will be able to use their skills to streamline our shipping processes, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:1. Oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving, ensuring that all products are correctly packaged, labeled, and shipped to the right location on time.2. Work closely with our purchasing department to manage inventory levels, making sure that we always have the necessary supplies on hand to meet customer orders.3. Coordinate with our sales and production teams to schedule shipments, taking into account factors like production timelines, customer deadlines, and shipping costs.4. Use your knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures to ensure that all shipments comply with relevant laws and standards.5. Develop and implement strategies to improve our shipping processes, such as by identifying opportunities to consolidate shipments, negotiate better rates with carriers, or reduce packaging waste.6. Handle any issues that arise during the shipping process, such as delayed shipments, damaged goods, or incorrect orders, in a timely and professional manner.7. Keep accurate records of all shipments, including costs, delivery times, and any problems encountered.8. Provide regular reports to management on shipping activities and performance.Qualifications:1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.2. Proven skills in purchasing, inventory control, and scheduling.3. Knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures.4. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments at once and meet tight deadlines.5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.6.
