Shipping Clerk (Temporary) - Orthotic Holdings : Job Details

We are hiring for a full-time temporary Shipping Clerk! Job purpose Responsible for shipping and receiving all products. Duties and responsibilities • Primary point of contact for all outbound shipments • Check paperwork accompanying order • Separate all orders as per shipping method • Build shipping boxes • Combine multiple shipment orders • Apply labels to box • Stack appropriately for pick up • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions • Ability to work as a team and individually • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with deadlines • Communicates in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listens attentively to others Working conditions • Dusty, somewhat noisy, laboratory manufacturing environment with some plastic, glue and ink odor Physical requirements • Required to stand for long periods of time • Repetitive motion of arms, wrists, hands and fingers • Frequent bending • Short distance reaching with hands and arms • Required to use close and distance vision and able to adjust focus • Personal Protective Equipment required: Safety shoes, glasses, ear plugs and dust mask • Frequently walking • Lifting or moving heavy and large boxes up to 50 -70 lbs. will be required on a regular basis
