Overview:

As a Shipping Consultant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless shipping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for managing the entire shipping process, from initial contract to final delivery. This includes providing exceptional customer service, navigating our proprietary software, and utilizing Google products efficiently.

Please note: This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication.
  • Provide timely and accurate information regarding shipping status, potential delays, and any other relevant updates.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Shipping Process Management:

  • Manage the entire shipping process, including order entry, tracking, and delivery confirmation.
  • Utilize our proprietary software to accurately input and track shipment data.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Monitor shipments for potential issues and proactively resolve any problems that arise.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipping activities.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required.
  • Stay informed about shipping industry trends, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
