Position Overview

Responsible for all incoming, outgoing and movement of materials to support production needs.

Responsibilities

Shipping

  • Organize and prepare all outgoing shipments, including banding and wrapping pallets.
  • Ensure all finished product is labeled correctly and processed accordingly within system(s).
  • Loading, unloading, storage and movement of materials through warehouse and production area.
  • Performs data entry and maintenance of documentation supporting all shipping transactions.
  • Receive incoming shipments; unload, visually inspect and stock. Complete receiving transaction.
  • Professional and timely communication with customer service and sales team members on order overages and necessary shipping information.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping supplies and keep department organized.
  • Assist in other areas and with miscellaneous warehouse tasks as needed

Inventory

  • Complete weekly and monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory visibility within system(s).
  • Update inventory in Amtech and investigate discrepancies.
  • Ensure inventory remains organized and all inventory has the appropriate load tag attached.
  • Monitor and communicate to purchasing when inventory of any suppliers or raw material are below minimum on hand quantity requirements.
  • Perform inventory and receipt adjustments for accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Proactively develop process improvements both internally and within system(s).
  • Monitor inventory needs to ensure raw materials and finished goods are available to meet production and shipping needs.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years prior material handling experience
  • Computer skills - Ability to read and comprehend procedures
  • Ability to multitask and work in a face paced environment with minimal errors
