Position Overview Responsible for all incoming, outgoing and movement of materials to support production needs. Responsibilities Shipping
- Organize and prepare all outgoing shipments, including banding and wrapping pallets.
- Ensure all finished product is labeled correctly and processed accordingly within system(s).
- Loading, unloading, storage and movement of materials through warehouse and production area.
- Performs data entry and maintenance of documentation supporting all shipping transactions.
- Receive incoming shipments; unload, visually inspect and stock. Complete receiving transaction.
- Professional and timely communication with customer service and sales team members on order overages and necessary shipping information.
- Prepare and maintain shipping supplies and keep department organized.
- Assist in other areas and with miscellaneous warehouse tasks as needed
Inventory
- Complete weekly and monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory visibility within system(s).
- Update inventory in Amtech and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure inventory remains organized and all inventory has the appropriate load tag attached.
- Monitor and communicate to purchasing when inventory of any suppliers or raw material are below minimum on hand quantity requirements.
- Perform inventory and receipt adjustments for accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Proactively develop process improvements both internally and within system(s).
- Monitor inventory needs to ensure raw materials and finished goods are available to meet production and shipping needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years prior material handling experience
- Computer skills - Ability to read and comprehend procedures
- Ability to multitask and work in a face paced environment with minimal errors
