Waev's headquarters and factory are located in Anaheim, California.Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to oversee our shipping operations and ensure seamless logistics for both domestic and international shipments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our commitment to zero damages, ensuring on-time delivery, managing invoice processes, and coordinating international shipment arrangements.Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping Management: Coordinate all shipping activities, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods. Monitor shipment status to guarantee on-time delivery to customers.
- Damage Prevention: Implement and uphold stringent quality control measures to ensure no damage occurs during packing and transit. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain standards.
- Invoicing and Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping invoices, ensuring all charges are accurate and compliant with company policies. Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- International Shipments: Arrange and manage international shipments, including compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements. Liaise with freight forwarders and carriers to facilitate smooth cross-border logistics.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for shipping inquiries, both internally and externally. Maintain clear communication with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to address issues and provide updates.
- Reporting: Generate shipping reports and analytics to assess performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred; 5 years relevant experience with no degree is also acceptable.
- Proven experience in shipping and logistics, with previous experience with international operations.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
