Position: Shipping CoordinatorPay: $18 - $23 per hourSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)Reports to: Warehouse ManagerResponsibilities:The distribution center in Pomona is seeking a clerical professional with a background in shipping.The role includes:- Contacting carriers for quotes.- Creating bills of lading.- Responding to emails and answering phone calls.- Communicating with logistics, transportation, and third-party logistics in regions including Nevada, Mississippi, and Mexico.- Coordinating with suppliers, retailers, customers, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.- Preparing and managing shipping documents, such as invoices and packing lists.- Overseeing the packing and loading of products to ensure they are properly secured for transport.- Tracking shipments and resolving any delays or issues that may arise.- Ensuring compliance with safety and legal guidelines, standards, and regulations in all shipping and transportation processes.Requirements:- High school diploma or G.E.D.- 3-5 years of shipping experience in a distribution environment.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and shipping software (UPS/FedEx WorldWide, Transportation Management Systems).
