Job Description :
Position Overview: Maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced.Essential Functions: Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment Monitor sales and inventory levels to determine level of safety stock and provide notification to supervisor or manager Assists Production and QC with manufacturing related issues Maintain material on shelves and shop floor Place stocking orders, re-orders and special orders Assist with loading / unloading materials from trucks with use of forklift and / or pallet jack Chemical management to include stocking, and checking expiration dates Work order processing to include order picking and issuing work orders Daily Cycle Counts - create count sheets Bin Stock Control and Replenishment Material logistics between multiple locations - delivery and pick-up Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment including international and hazmat Resolve inventory and work order discrepanciesJob Specifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required Excellent communication both written and verbal Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Proficient with ERP/MRP SystemsEducation, Certifications and Experience: High School Diploma or GED 3-5 years of forklift experience 3-5 years in a production environment Valid driver's license requiredPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
