The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, shipping, and logistics with excellent leadership and communication skills. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods. They will ensure warehouse operations run efficiently including order fulfillment, shipping, inventory management, and safety. This is a permanent, full-time position.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Monitor inventory KPI's and generate reports on warehouse productivity, stock levels, and shipping costs.
  • Analyze reports and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped on time.
  • Coordinate with customer service to resolve any shipping or order issues.
  • Optimize order processing and minimize errors.
  • Develop and implement procedures to optimize inventory control.
  • Manage the maintenance and efficient layout of warehouse space and equipment.
  • Streamline workflows to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in warehouse management, shipping, and logistics.
  • A college degree in Logistics & Warehousing or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and using metrics for performance management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards.
  • Experience leading from the shop floor.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
