Shipping Operator - AZEK Company : Job Details

This position is at our Prairie Plant in Wilmington. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 2pm to 10pm

Pay Range: $21.50-$24.00 per hour.

Core Responsibilities:

* Operates forklift to safely unload inbound shipments of finished goods

* Maintains paperwork for all loads

* Verifies that inbound shipments are damage-free and match packing list exactly

* Maintains clean and orderly conditions in warehouse and loading areas using workplace organization methods (i.e. 6S)

* Participates in continuous improvement initiatives

* Follow all safety and equipment handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment

* Pull all rail kitting components to be shipped to offsite supplier

* Load trucks for outbound shipments of components

* Receive and unload the trucks of incoming rail kits from supplier

* Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of incoming rail kits

* Performs additional duties/tasks as assigned by supervision/management

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED required

* A minimum of 5 years of experience operating material handling equipment

* Forklift Certification - either current or in prior work experience

* Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally

* Strong attention to detail, reading, comprehension and good communication skills

* Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment

* Computer skills preferred, to include; basic input of information into ERP system on receiving and shipping process

* Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business

Education Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
