• Support the enterprise's mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities.
• Responsible for managing shipping requirements for multiple customers. This includes reading releases, preparing shipment, dock audit process per customer standards, preparing paperwork and loading customer trucks.
• Responsible for preparing shippers and sends ASN/Ship notices to customers upon shipment and keep verification of same
• Assist team leader in giving warehouse and dock direction to the hourly colleagues in the shipping and receiving department to ensure window times are met.
• Assist other shipping colleagues; repacking service orders, hauling empty containers outside, unplanned repack, tote sorting, miscellaneous shipments & unloading shuttles.
• Serves as 3PL, supplier and customer liaison for dock times; route issues.
• Interact with Production Control/Scheduling colleagues.
• Assist with all packaging and containerization needs on the shift.

This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Shipping Department team and reports to the Shipping Supervisor. Required experience:

• Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• One to three years' experience in shipping / materials is preferred.
• Strong computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Knowledge of MRP system; QAD, Eagle & I-Gear.
• Knowledge of scheduling techniques, maximizing trucks.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• APICS certification in MRP preferred.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
