SUMMARY The Shipping/Receiving person is responsible for the receipt and shipment of product to and from customers and vendors. This critical to the business position is a direct connect between our production operations and the customer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creating job travelers for certain PO's Tracking down missing paperwork / missing or not received POs. Scheduling finished orders for shipping. - Making sure the Dashboard Shipping Schedule matches with what is actually complete on the floor
- Utilizing and orchestrating QPC drivers for shipments
- Calling and scheduling pickups & deliveries with contract carriers
Staging orders and attaching packing slips. Filing paperwork. Scanning and e-filing paperwork (POD's, Special Projects, Misc.). Tracking down lost invoices, packing slips, PODs, POs. Counting and entering into Epicor, parts received. Loading and unloading raw and finished product. Sending ASNs (Advance Shipment Notices) to customers. Sending PODs (Proof of Delivery) to customers. Fielding customers shipping questions. Helping maintain relationships with customers. Maintaining communication with Production Management. Utilizing many different facets of Epicor throughout all of the above. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree in supply chain management or operations management. 1 or more years of applicable experience performing supply chain activities in a manufacturing environment.
- Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Basic math skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience with Epicor software.
