OHI Inc. is looking for 2 part-time Shipping & Receiving Associates. This position offers flexible hours and willing to work around your schedule. The responsibilities of a Shipping and Receiving Associate include, but not limited to:
- Receiving and Verifying Shipments: Accepting incoming shipments and ensuring the quality and quantity of items are accurate.
- Order Preparation: Preparing outgoing orders for shipment, including tasks like packaging, weighing, and printing shipping labels.
- Record Maintenance: Keeping detailed records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including inventory, returns, and packaging materials (dunnage).
- Inventory Organization: Organizing inventory for efficient access and restocking items as needed.
- Damage Documentation: Recording any damage to inventory and completing required documentation for damage claims.
- Material Handling: Transporting materials within the shipping dock area and loading them onto trucks or railroad cars.
- Issue Notification: Informing supervisors of any discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
- Paperwork Completion: Filling out necessary documents such as bills of lading and dray tickets.
- Database Management: Maintaining shipment data in a database to ensure customer orders are updated accurately.
Requirements and Experience:
- Positive attitude and willingness to help team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective verbal and written skills.
- Ability to muti-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.
- Working experience with MS office business applications.
- NetSuite CRM experience is a plus.
- Industry experience in O&P, Podiatry or Footwear is a plus.
