Shipping and Receiving Clerk employees must:
- Possess a valid TWIC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and process paperwork from operations/drivers courteously and professionally.
- Acknowledge and appropriately greet and assist every driver/customer or customer representative promptly.
- Monitor and complete truck and receiving logs and all daily inventory control paperwork.
- Communicate with common carriers, computer input,
- Preparation of outbound shipping documents, responding to inquiries, and processing orders.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; advising management; offering solutions to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; and following up with the customer to ensure resolution.
- Review orders receiving documents in the AS400 system and ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Maintain an organized and professional work environment.
- Accurately process customer orders courteously, efficiently, and timely.
- Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently, and with good communication skills.
- Generate billing accurately and promptly.
- Assist with any administrative or clerical duties that may be required.
- Capable of performing multiple tasks concurrently.
- Able to utilize copying and fax machines.
- Professional phone mannerisms and tone.
- Must be friendly and always portray a professional image.
- Self-starter and willing to research and resolve problems.
- Have a positive courteous attitude.
- Assists in the assembly and organization of the team each workday.
- Able to consistently meet team quality and production goals in conjunction with additional responsibilities.
- Assist the supervisor in developing procedures and implementing new procedures.
- Assists in maintaining decorum within the team and helps keep the team focused.
- Informs the supervisor of unsafe situations or not in the team's best interest.
- Responsible for ensuring all team tasks are completed by the end of the shift.
- Leads by example in demonstrating proper production procedures.
- Works on miscellaneous projects as needed.
- Able to function independently, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate initiative and tact in handling all the above responsibilities.
- Ability to work overtime during the week or on weekends when necessary.
- Adhering to the Company's safety policies and procedures, those set out by OSHA.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Good understanding of warehouse operations.
- Intermediate skill level in Word and Excel.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with export requirements and documents.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Ability to regularly stand, walk long distances, and talk and hear.
- Ability to frequently use hands and arms to grab, handle or feel, and reach.
- Ability to occasionally sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl.
- Ability to occasionally climb ladders or stairs.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds, with assistance or lifting machinery as necessary.
- Must wear Seaonus required safety PPE, Safety vest, hard hat, gloves, etc.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Working indoors and outdoors.
- Excessive heat or cold, and extreme weather conditions, excessive humidity or dampness or chilling.
- Slippery and uneven walking surfaces.
- Work around machinery with moving parts.
