POSITION OVERVIEW: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for, but not limited to, all activities surrounding inbound and outbound packages. In this role, they will maintain records, prepare shipping documents along with the correct mailing labels, ensure that all orders are correctly fulfilled, and maintain loading dock with necessary equipment and materials. In regards to receiving they will perform the unpacking of received materials and distribute contents to appropriate departments and work centers. Requisitions and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory stock. Use of forklift equipment as needed and use of company truck for deliveries may also be required. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY: Successful candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, plus a minimum of one year related experience in manufacturing setting. Ability to use office related software including Word and Excel as well as the ability to use the company ERP system to record and/or log shipping and receiving information. Must have a valid driver license with a good driving record. Forklift experience preferred.
