Shipping / Receiving Clerk - Molded Dimensions : Job Details

Molded Dimensions Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team in Fife, Washington. The Shipping Clerk will play a key role in shipping, receiving and moving products within the facility. This includes but not limited to spare parts, hardware, equipment, finished goods, work-in-process, and supplies.1st Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Mon-FriKey Responsibilities: Ships goods according to documented QMS procedures.Receives goods according to documented QMS procedures.Loads and unloads goods from trucks.Contacts carriers for shipping purposes.Keeps shipping records as needed. Prepares shipping forms as needed.Maintains inventory accuracy through accurate ERP transactions.Performs cycle counts.Time usage: package and ship goods in timely manner to fulfill daily shipment schedule.Uses banding equipment to secure goods to pallets.Maintains packing equipment in working order.Tools and equipment: report any damaged or worn equipment to management.Other tasks assigned by Lead.Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages. Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.Examines material received, verifies parts numbers, and checks discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts.Operate lifting equipment (forklift) safely (training provided). Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent.One-year verifiable work historyBasic reading, verbal and written vocabulary skills in English.Previous work experience in shipping/receiving or material handling in a manufacturing environment preferred.Forklift Certification required within 30 days Skills and Abilities Required: Must have current WA state drivers license in good standing.Concrete knowledge of automated or computerized system operation.Experience with Microsoft Office - Word/ExcelFamiliar with safety practices and record keeping.Operate a forklift and other materials handling equipment or any large vehicle in tight and congested areas.Current forklift certification preferred.
