Job Description :
POSITION SUMMARYThe Shipping/Receiving clerk is responsible for verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments involving inventory.MAJOR TASKS
  • Ensure trucks are loaded accurately according to instructions from the customer, office personnel, or sales staff.
  • Responsible for managing the FIFO Procedures established by the operations manager.
  • In accordance with established procedures, accurately record items that are loaded and unloaded. Keeps track of inventory utilizing the company's IT systems.
  • Verify order details and collaborate closely with the warehouse team for precise fulfillment.
  • Properly completing the shipping paperwork (bill of laden, packing slips etc.)
  • Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Degree or GED.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Must be comfortable working independently in a safe efficient pace.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and email, and the ability to learn and use company specific software.
