Shipping & Receiving Coordinator - WB Industries : Job Details

We're hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to ensure the efficient and accurate handling of our shipments. This role is vital to maintaining the quality and integrity of our supply chain operations. As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will be responsible for examining shipments to verify accuracy, preparing shipping orders, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining detailed records. You will also play a key role in organizing and staging incoming materials, ensuring that everything is stored properly and ready for use.

In this position, you'll conduct Level 1 Receiving Inspections, ensure materials are correctly identified and organized, and work with various teams to resolve issues with shipments. You will also be responsible for arranging the return of excess or damaged materials, generating shipping documents, supervising the loading process, and verifying that all shipments meet quality and safety standards. Inventory management, including cycle counting and updating records in our ERP system, will be a crucial part of your responsibilities.

You should be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word, and be comfortable working with our ERP system, Epicor 10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as you will need to collaborate with different departments and external vendors. Experience in operating material handling equipment is required, as well as a background in a commercial, machining, or aerospace-related manufacturing environment.

This role involves moderate to heavy physical work, including lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods. You'll need to be comfortable exerting up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally more than 80 pounds. Attention to detail is critical, as you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of data and shipments.
