We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Helper who will be responsible for performing inspections and test for/at receiving in-process and final for all production parts at our BOP location. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve requested products from warehouse.
  • Input all shipments into the computer.
  • Ship small parcels via UPS and FedEx.
  • Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by supervisor.
  • Count items to ensure that the correct number have been received.
  • Match order information in order cards with information on picked items to ensure conformity.
  • Coordinating, loading, and unloading shipments and receipts.
  • This is primarily a shipping and receiving position that will be lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, operating pallet jacks (both powered and non-powered) and entering data into a computer.
  • Escalate significant events (i.e., Diversion, Adverse Events, Informix slow down)
  • Unload shipments throughout the day that come in daily.
  • During downtime help with warehouse work.
  • Assist with audits/ inventory / cycle counts.
  • Break down pallets / take out cardboard and wrapping material to trash bins.
  • Abide by all safety rules and procedures.
  • Packages/prepares orders for shipment with care, whether product is for a customer.
  • Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and/or material to Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or a GED equivalent or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years Shipping & Receiving work experience.
  • Must have prior forklift operating experience.
