Management Level: M1SUMMARY: Our Shipping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high production quality and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. Our Shipping Supervisor requires an essential understanding and control of the production process accurate record keeping and general line maintenance and staffing. Our Shipping Supervisor would be working 2nd Shift 4:00PM-1/2:00AM at our 54th St. Plant in Enid, OK. Although the Salary Rate for this role is based on experience, this role does offer 6th/7th day pay ($200 for 6th and $265 for 7th) with 4 weeks of Vacation, Benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental), 5% Annual Incentive Plan & 2% Annual Salary Review with an overall opportunity to continue your growth with Tyson. Responsibilities:

• Checking daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer orders ensuring proper shipment and on-time delivery to customers ensuring 10 0 order fill rate ensuring every position is filled before start-up of production
• Overseeing Team Member morning exercises and job rotation in order to facilitate ergonomics and ensuring all machinery is performing to the highest standard possible.
• Ensuring all workstations have passed USDA Inspection promoting safety on a daily basis as well as through monthly safety meetings and ensuring accurate shipments rotation of inventory and proper coding of products.
• Additionally Shipping Supervisor is responsible for knowing and communicating company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members providing encouragement to Team Members in order to build the best team possible and the critical ability to perform the human relations functions such as training retaining and counseling on personal and professional problems.
• Overseeing various processing operations and working with other supervisors in solving problems keeping records of reworked or returned product providing continuous education on the importance of quality and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in shipping, standup forklift, & SAP required. (Having these skills noted on your application/resume will be helpful to ensure we review your qualifications correctly)
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills helpful.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
• Supervisory: Our Shipping Supervisor is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
• Travel: 1-5 trips per year.
• Must reside in the US, sponsorship is not offered for this role

Internal Team Member Qualifications:

• Must not have 4 or more attendance points for locations on an 8 point policy (on application date)
• No written warning in the past six (6) months
• No suspensions on record for the last 12 months
