Shipping Technician - Supreme Rice LLC : Job Details

Supreme Rice is looking for a Shipping Technician at our Crowley, LA, location. Are you mechanically inclined? Like to work with your hands and do repairs and maintenance? We need a shipping Technician to take care of changing belts on conveyors and other minor maintenance on Shipping machinery. This job will perform maintenance on shipping equipment and ensure all shipping equipment is running efficiently. Must be comfortable climbing heights, working in harsh environment and have good physical ability. Shifts are 10+ hrs per day, Monday - Friday and some Saturdays. • Perform inspections on and Maintenance of machinery such as grain elevators and conveyers

• Mechanical work to ensure machines are working well
• Basic Repair work on industrial equipment
• Drive a forklift (will train)

Requirements

• Must have basic electrical knowledge and be comfortable with basic repairs and maintenance
• Must have Basic Computer knowledge
• Certification or 2yr degree preferred in associated field
