Shop Assistant $28.84/hour DOE Full Benefits including 401 K with company match The Shop Assistant reports directly to the Hangar Manager and aids in maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment in the Hangar. This position is also responsible for maintaining aircrew life support equipment (ALSE). Under the oversight of the Part 133 Chief Pilot, the Shop Assistant also manages ALSE inventory, shipping, receiving and ordering as required. This includes maintaining the REACH Helmet Control Program and the Fire Rescue ALSE as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for maintaining clean, orderly, and safe work environment in the hangar as directed. Maintains and organizes shop supplies and expendables used in daily operations Maintains hangar tool calibration per company policies. Orders and maintains hangar HAZMAT inventory per company policies. Maintains an accurate chemical inventory in Mapistry for the Mc. Clellan Facility.
