As a Shop Associate, you are accountable for the tasks required to support our jobsites and fabrication shop. You will be responsible for upholding safety standards and personnel, while maintaining effective and efficient processes for tooling, procurement, material handling, and quality checks of our tools, you'll provide complete field support and on time deliveries leading to reduced overall project costs. What We Ask of You:
- Provide tools and materials to various locations within the region while maintaining high levels of safety and professionalism
- Physical ability to load and unload cargo
- Make on-time deliveries to and from various jobsites and other destinations in the safest and most efficient manner possible with no delay to the field employees or customers
- Confirm all loaded items to ensure shop order is complete and verify proper attachment of all items before vehicle is started and you leave the shop/jobsite
- Assist in shop order process of pulling and returning tools for job sites by checking safety and accessories of each tool for proper operation, and keeping inventory for future jobs
- Maintain cube vans by unloading, inspecting and restocking for state of readiness and quick response jobs
- Execute minor shipping/receiving duties as assigned by Tool Shop Manager
- Assist at warehouse, and sheet metal shop when needed
- Building & grounds duties should be competed when necessary, including, landscaping, snow shoveling, garbage changes, dumpster pickups and storing gas bottles properly
Experience & Competencies:
- High school degree or equivalent
- 18+ years old
- Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving recordand adhere to safe driving rules and all safety requirements
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Strong communication skills; oral, written, and computer
- Must have integrity, enthusiasm and willingness to represent the company in the most professional, positive manner.
The estimated compensation range for this role is $18/hourly. This range is based on several factors, including individual education, qualifications, training, prior work experience, and work location.John W.
