Shop Hand - Deep Well Services : Job Details

The Shop Hand is responsible for completing a variety of tasks such as supporting the inventory department with daily duties as well as all tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.Pay: $17.85Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Sponsored STD and Life, Voluntary Life and 401k Match ProgramPaid Time OffHoliday PaySkills & AbilitiesEducation: High School Diploma, GED or equivalentExperience: 1 - 3 years verifiable work experience, basic mechanical abilities to work in shop area and location as needed. Prior forklift experience is preferred.Other Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age, maintain a valid driver's license, and possess a clean driving record to meet minimum company standards for insurance purposes. Must be able to operate safely within high traffic/congested areas as well as very rural areas. Must also successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.DutiesFill parts request forms submitted by the field and organize transportation of said items.Drive company equipment safely and as required, including hot shot runs and forklift operations.Perform complete pre- and post-trip inspections of all equipment to reduce/eliminate breakdowns.Assist the Inventory Control Coordinator with shipping and receiving, securing inventory items in proper locations and proper loading/unloading of trucks.Collect packing slips from packages and deliver them to the Inventory Control Coordinator.Assist with the receiving and organization of inventory items within the shop.Assist Inventory Control Coordinator with regular tasks including monthly counts.Perform wash bay duties as needed.Ensure shop areas are kept clean and organized. Ensure storage of critical SRP meets OEM standard.Adhere to all shop policies and procedures.
