Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Machinist to join our team in a fast-paced machining service. The Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality machined parts to strict tolerances and specifications while maintaining a safe and organized working environment. Responsibilities: Manual Shop MachinistWork Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pmFull-Time PositionPay Scale $35-$40.Duties & Responsibilities • Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of machining tools to perform precision machining operations (lathe, milling machine, drill press, etc.)

  • Set up/operate machines, including but not limited to, lathes, vertical turret lathes, horizontal boring mills, Bridgeport knee mills.
  • Ability to read and understand prints. Knowledge of concentricity, parallelism, surface finish, and tolerances in both imperial and metric units
  • Use of precision measuring instruments and equipment such as Vernier calipers, height gauges, inside, outside and depth micrometers, parallels, gage blocks, dial indicators, surface gages to attain accurate dimensions and maintain tolerances.
• Machine and fabricate a variety of parts and components to include shafts, bushings, pins, gears, hubs, bearings, keyways, etc. • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and precision measurement tools. • Conduct maintenance on equipment in accordance with the scheduled maintenance requirements • Work closely with various members of the team to collaborate on projects and other jobs. • Adhere to and promote all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment throughout the plant. • Operate hoisting and lifting devices. • Be willing and able to work any shift, variable start times, overtime, and weekends as scheduled. • Be able to complete job setups independently.   • Experience in rotating equipment & fabrication
  • Experience with precision maintenance
  • Technical Degree or higher
Requirements Qualifications: Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of (5) years of experience in vertical mills and lathes
  • Experience in machining steel, stainless steel, aluminum
  • Required able to provide personal hand tools.
  • Knowledge of tool holders, insert types, lathe threading, turning and boring setups.
  • Experience in geometric tolerances, inspection gages, and layout procedures
