Job Description :
The Service Writer is responsible to assist customers with equipment repair needs. This includes carefully gathering the necessary information regarding the service needed, coordinating completion of the appropriate service, and communicating with the customer until service has been properly completed. The Service Shop Assembler is responsible for assembling small engines and other store items as needed.   • Service Shop Assembler reports directly to the Service Shop Manager.
  • Service Shop Assembler will have no direct supervisory authority.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Read and interpret specification manuals or assembly blueprints to assemble product accordingly.
  • Perform quality control checks that entail inspecting, operating, and testing completed products.
  • Align or position components needed for assembly, either by manual placement or by using hoists.
  • Must be able to perform in a productive and positive manner with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Loading and unloading equipment, and machine assembly.
  • Must represent Runnings in a professional and positive manner.
  • May assist with routine small engine maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform on-site evaluations and equipment demos.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain proper certifications that may be required.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, delivery truck, etc.
  • OTHER DUTIES
  • Other duties as assigned by the Service Shop Manager.

  • May need to work an irregular work schedule.
  • Must be detail orientated.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to comprehend new processes, multi-task, and properly plan and prioritize tasks.

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
