Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify Operations System Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Order Desk as middleware, AMT as an ERP system, and possess expert-level knowledge of Shopify administration. This role requires strong Excel and data manipulation skills to compare large datasets between multiple systems, support and optimize Shopify operations, manage integrations, and handle Shopify admin requests efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify Administration:

• Serve as the primary expert for Shopify admin tasks, including store setup, theme customization, app integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and configure Shopify stores to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
• Handle and resolve Shopify admin requests promptly and efficiently.

Middleware Management:

• Integrate and manage Order Desk as the middleware between Shopify and other systems.
• Ensure seamless data flow between Shopify, Order Desk, and AMT ERP.
• Monitor and troubleshoot middleware processes to maintain data integrity and system reliability.

ERP Integration:

• Oversee the integration of Shopify with AMT ERP, ensuring accurate synchronization of inventory, orders, and customer data.
• Collaborate with the finance and supply chain teams to optimize ERP configurations and workflows.
• Implement and maintain ERP-related automation to streamline operations.

Data Analysis and Manipulation:

• Utilize advanced Excel skills to compare and analyze large datasets between Shopify, Order Desk, and AMT ERP.
• Identify discrepancies and provide actionable insights to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Develop automated reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

System Optimization:

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and scalability of Shopify systems.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance testing to ensure robust and reliable system performance.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify and e-commerce technologies to recommend and implement enhancements.

Support and Training:

• Provide technical support for Shopify-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Train internal teams on best practices for using Shopify, Order Desk, AMT ERP, and data analysis tools.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Operations System Engineer or similar role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Shopify administration.
• Hands-on experience with Order Desk as middleware.
• In-depth knowledge of AMT ERP system.
• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills, including experience with large datasets.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Shopify or related e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with additional ERP systems or middleware tools.
• Familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for Shopify customizations.
