SHOWROOM DIRECTOR - J&L Hardware : Job Details

J&L Hardware is a boutique, to the trade showroom representing 100's of plumbing and architectural hardware lines from across the world. Also offering exclusive bespoke plumbing lines to the US. We are seeking a Showroom Director who will focus on cultivating new and maintaining existing relationships within the A&D community and driving incremental activity into the business. They will grow and deepen the existing trade relationships and expand our business within Houston, TX. As the Showroom Director they will liaison directly with the owners to develop an organic growth strategy to be implemented into the Houston market. Ideal candidates will have experience in high end showrooms and/or luxury goods companies with extensive knowledge of plumbing fixtures and architectural hardware sales. A strong ability to lead teams and highly skilled in client relations. Compensation commensurate with prior experience and benefits to be agreed upon with candidate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop new business with a focus on establishing active trade accounts within the Houston and greater Texas markets.
• Analysis of existing trade business and development of strategy for future growth
• Analysis of current services offered to the trade with a focus on streamlining current practices
• Build, lead, educate and inspire an effective and successful team dedicated to servicing the Trade community
• Identify key events, partnerships, and market opportunities
• Strong current trade relationships within the Houston market- a must
• Strong focus on outside sales and business development
• Cultivate new relationships with prospective trade clients and maintain existing relationships
• Develop sales and penetration strategies
• Manage and/or oversee sales activities including quotations, budget planning, client negotiations, order management, deliveries, and on-going relationship
• Sales monitoring, analysis and reporting on sales activities
• Manage and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
