Shuttle Driver - Silgan Containers Corporation : Job Details

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment to destination in a safe and efficient manner. Must operate equipment safely, with a strong knowledge/understanding of all State and Federal driver regulations outlined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations book. Maintain required paperwork in accordance with State and Federal DOT Regulations (i.e.: Driver logs, pre/post trip inspections). Comply with health and safety regulations, trailer drive must monitor safety requirements, ensuring procedures are followed so as not to endanger themselves and other through careless driving. Must be able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and stay on schedule. Possess excellent attention to detail. Compliance with applicable Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices. Other duties as assigned. Must comply with all customers inbound policies and procedures for safety and GMP.
