Job Description
ASRC Federal Professional Services is seeking a highly motivated Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) Research Support Specialist to support the Army Capability Manager for Formations Intelligence (ACM-FI) at the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE), located in Fort Huachuca, AZ. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of SIGINT operations, doctrine development, and force design, directly supporting the Army's Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWfF).
Responsibilities include:
* Forge Relationships: Engage with commanders, intelligence leaders, and operators across key Army intelligence organizations, including Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigades (E-MIBs), Intelligence Electronic Warfare Battalions (IEW BNs), and Military Intelligence Companies (MICOs).
* Provide Expert Guidance: Offer technical advice on SIGINT management, training, and operations, ensuring alignment with IWfF objectives.
* Shape Programs of Record (POR): Collaborate with stakeholders across Army Futures Command, intelligence formations, and USAICoE to support the development and refinement of SIGINT programs of record.
* Enhance Doctrine: Review and recommend updates to SIGINT portions of Army doctrinal publications using the Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM) process.
* Support Force Design: Analyze personnel and equipment needs for emerging formations and contribute to effective force structuring.
* Develop Training Solutions: Create and enhance training materials for SIGINT capabilities and facilitate coordination for mobile training teams (MTTs) to deliver hands-on instruction.
* Policy Innovation: Research and disseminate updated policies governing SIGINT operations, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
* Observe and Report: Travel to exercises and experiments, assess SIGINT integration in large-scale combat operations, and draft technical and executive summaries to inform policy, doctrine, and training strategies.
* Plan and Execute: Support wargaming, simulations, and experimentation by identifying and addressing architecture requirements.
Education/Experience:
* Education: Bachelor's Degree and completion of advanced professional military education (e.g., Senior Leader Course, Captain Career Course, or Warrant Officer Advanced Course).
* Experience: 5-7 years of recent experience in SIGINT collection, production, or research, with a focus on brigade, division, or corps-level functional assignments.
Skills
* Familiarity with capability development, the DOTMLPF-P framework, and JCIDS.
* Ability to write technical documentation in a clear and concise manner, IAW with published guidelines and formats that include AFC TDP, JCIDS, and AR 25-50 standards.
* Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with stakeholders across various commands.
Clearance Requirement: Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Travel Requirement: Up to 25%.
