This growing company offers their clients valuable knowledge and expertise in Signage & Graphics. Due to the recent growth of the company, there is an opportunity for an Experienced Operations Professional to join the team. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 5+ years in a management role within a signage company. We are looking for someone who is driven to succeed but also has the ability to establish lasting relationships with their clients, both externally and internally. If you are ambitious and hungry we would like to speak with you! Sign Shop Operations Director Responsibilities:
- Directs the manufacture, storage, and distribution of signs and related materials.
- Reviews or develops specifications for various materials used in sign production.
- Reviews, evaluates, and recommends new or revised methods, procedures, materials, equipment, and techniques for the sign shop.
- Interviews and consults with vendors pertaining to shop equipment, materials, design, and sign manufacturing processes.
- Approves requisitions for sign materials and related hardware.
- Reviews for department approval sign proposals from outside vendors.
- Performs the full range of supervisory duties.
- Employees in this job may participate in the performance of subordinates' work consistent with operational or organizational requirements.
- Performs related work as required.
Sign Shop Operations Director Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the production methods, equipment, and materials used in the manufacturing of signs.
- Knowledge of the principles and standards governing sign use and installation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of inventory management and distribution operations.
- Knowledge of graphic design software applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to effectively manage, through subordinate supervisors, the planning and production activities of a sign shop.
